The seat force acceleration must be closely watched in the roller coaster design process, as it is easy to design forces which are too high for passengers to withstand. The seat force drops as the car starts down the first drop, as expected. At the bottom of the first drop, the seat force increases as the curvature and speed increase. Through the inversions, the seat force drops as the speed drops (as the elevation increases), then increases as the curvature increases.
