First Drop

The second primary element is a drop, which will provide the car with the kinetic energy in needs to continue navigating the track. The first drop is specified as a straight element with the following parameters:
\begin{spacing}{1}
\begin{itemize}
\item {\em Vertical Angle} --- $-50$ \item {\em Height} --- $10$\end{itemize}\end{spacing}
The height shown above may seem very small, but it is only the height of the straight section. The total height of the drop is composed of the straight element and a portion of its adjacent joints, the sum of which will be considerably larger.
