Geometric Design

As stated before, the design of the track begins with the geometry. With Track Master, the lift hill is the first element to be specified. In the program, and in the example presented below, all angles are specified in degrees, all lengths are specified in feet, and speed is expressed in feet per second. The parameters specified by the user will be shown italicized, while the parameters calculated by the program will be shown in plain text. The time step used in this example is 0.2 seconds, which is not small enough to produce a high level of accuracy; however, it will suffice for the purposes of this example.
